An academic and administrator with nearly fifty years of extensive experience in government institutions, academia, and the private sector. He has held numerous positions and actively participated in professional syndicate work, volunteer activities, and political engagement. He was elected Dean of the College of Pharmacy at University of Baghdad and served as a member of the first term of the Iraqi Parliament. He believes in social democracy and Iraqi national identity.
